The new E-Procurement generation

Manage and optimize your purchasing processes!

Workflow driven

Most E-Procurement systems have emerged in shop systems and have been supplemented with e-procurement functions, while others were created as an extension to ERP systems. For the first time, the focus was on business processes and designed a completely new workflow engine for this purpose for the open ordering architecture. The workflow engine controls and monitors your business processes.

Reporting

Prepared reports give you a quick overview of what you are most interested in: orders per month, orders by contract, most profitable products and many more. With the Report Designer you can create your own reports online. Drag predefined fields to the desired location, then format the report to your liking. Add access permissions to distribute the new report to the appropriate users.

Transparency and compliance

With open ordering each purchasing process is fully transparent. By whom and when it was approved, posted the goods receipt or cancels an order. Documents are also versioned, so you can track any changes to an order. But even on running processes you keep track how long the process has been going on, where it is located, what communication went? In addition, automatic escalations ensure that you will be informed if something is stuck somewhere longer.

Electronic catalogs

With open ordering you can structure your materials and services and make them ready for retrieval to your requesters. Also free text items can be classified accordingly. You can build your own material group system or rely on industry standards such as eClass. The material group evaluations are the basis for the development of procurement strategies for materials and suppliers as well as for measures to improve the profit contribution or reduction of costs.

Because you have tasks!

Tasks are everywhere. It is not only the authorizations. Also posting a goods receipt, the processing of a complain, the handling of a request are tasks that need to be coordinated daily. Therefore open ordering is a workflow system with which you can set up, manage and control your purchasing processes and rules.

It is your process!

Nobody knows your purchase processes better than you. So why adapt these processe to a software? Configure open ordering workflows so that they correspond with your processes. You can achieve this by using an integrated online workflow designer to build up your processes similar to Microsoft Visio©.

Planning your work, working with the plan

Find out quickly which tasks are most important to do the job. Therefore, each user has a list of tasks with deadlines and priorities. So nobody has to search a list of open orders, to see whether a goods receipt must be posted.
